Raven Ecological is also a dedication to my favourite dog: Raven. She was the best field assistant ever. Painting by Rob Kernachan, Hue-Nue-Artworks.

Why Raven Ecological? If I could come back as any animal, I would be a raven. I've often thought that if I could enter the mind of a raven, even for just one day, my understanding of the wolverines and grizzly bears I was studying and the wolves that interacted with them would launch to great heights. Painting by Rob Kernachan, Hue-Nue-Artworks.

Getting ready for a bike trip!

"The more clearly we can focus our attention on the wonders and realities of the universe about us, the less taste we shall have for destruction.” - Rachel Carson

My inspiration comes from connecting and exploring—out on the land and along waterways. My community never ceases to amaze me so I always make my way back home.
